Susan Pascal is a seasoned journalist, editor, and digital storyteller with a passion for elevating local voices. A graduate of New York University with a degree in communications, Susan launched her career in media more than 20 years ago—working with renowned platforms such as Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper, Patch.com, CoStar Group, and Pepperdine University.

Throughout her career, Susan has specialized in transforming complex ideas into compelling narratives across web, email, social media, and digital platforms. Her ability to connect stories with purpose and people with meaning led her to found Conejo Valley Happening, a community-focused digital magazine celebrating everyday changemakers. She also created and hosted The Athena Fortune Show, a podcast highlighting women’s empowerment, resilience, and reinvention.

Susan’s work has always been mission-driven—whether she’s redesigning a university website to better engage alumni or crafting thoughtful messaging for nonprofits. Her guiding belief: well-told stories have the power to inform, inspire, and unite.

As the proud host and executive producer of Good Neighbor Podcast Richmond, Susan continues her lifelong dedication to storytelling—this time, spotlighting the local businesses and professionals who make Richmond such a vibrant place to live and work.

She is also the proud mother of two adult children who call Richmond home.
